Amaco C-5 Charcoal
A transparent, deep gray that pools in recesses and clearly highlights raised areas and incisions.
AMACO Celadon glazes pool in recesses and highlight raised areas, incisions, and surface texture. Colors from this series can be used alone, mixed with each other, and layered with Potter’s Choice glazes.
Application: on bisque; mix thoroughly before use and apply in even coats
The final result depends on the clay body color, glaze thickness, and firing schedule. For repeatable results, we recommend testing on the ceramic clay you are using.
Firing temperature: 1200 – 1240 °C
