No prior experience is needed. The instructor is with you throughout the meeting: showing you how to start, helping with centering and shaping, and offering guidance during independent work at the wheel. The pottery wheel can be a lot of fun, and it is also a creative and dynamic technique. At the same time, it bears the hallmarks of meditation, calming and perfectly teaching you to be here and now.
